Plan The Way Foundation provides a series of KEY MOMENT workshops for the parents of our students to help prepare them for the different events in their lives . Whether it is paying for college, buying something new, or planning for retirement. The workshops are divided into six (6) categories:

College Planning Series

With college tuition prices continuing to increase while financial aid decreases, how are families supposed to pay for college? Learn about the different strategies involved in lowering out of pocket expenses, maximizing aid, filing financial aid applications (FAFSA, etc.), comparing colleges, and more.

    Discover the ins and outs of the admission process and how you can go through it stress free.

  • Financial Aid/FAFSA

    What is involved in the financial aid process and do I have to be a part of it. Discover the FAFSA form and how to fill it out and the impact it has on financial aid.

  • Saving for College

    Are you preparing for college expenses? There are many vehicles to use for saving for your child's college expense. Learn about the different options and how they affect financial aid, taxes and retirement.

  • Student Positioning

    College admittance has become very competitive. Come learn how to position your student to take advantage of his/her strengths and make them stand out in a crowd.

There are many challenges women face in retirement planning - how much to save, where to save it and when and how to spend so as not to outlive your assets.

  • Taking Money Out of Retirement Accounts

    Understanding the tax implications, penalties, fees, and options for taking money out of your retirement account is important. How will the choices you make impact your future, beneficiaries, etc.
